Polish Wilno [graphic] : chief monuments of Polish national architecture in Wilno, once the second capital of Poland. 1921.

The portfolio contains 37 original photographs and three photographic reproductions that capture the chief monuments of Polish national architecture in Wilno (now Vilnius, Lithuania) built during the city's Gothic through Rococo periods (1387-1770). Included are views of Vilnius's churches, cathedral, castle, palaces, university, city gates, and houses. There are two photographic views of the city as well as a photographic reproduction of Franz Hogenberg's 1576 engraving of the city.

Jan Bułhak (1876-1950), studied photography with Hugo Erfurth in Dresden and worked as his assistant before opening his own studio in Wilno in 1912, where he specialized in photographing the architecture and monuments of Poland. He was a co-founder of the Wilno Photo Club (1927), and the Polish Photo Club (1929), and manager of the Institute of Photography at Uniwersytet Stefana Batorego (1919-1939).
